Adjust the hook size if necessary to obtain correct gauge. **NOTIONS** Five 23mm buttons; st markers (m); seaming pins. **GAUGE** 20 sts and 15 rows = 4" in alternating hdc, dc rows with larger hook; braid = 11/2" wide; basket weave = 23/4" wide; Celtic plait = 51/2" wide; all worked with larger hook.
