**Materials:** **Yarn:** Sport Weight: **MC** ~ 50 (60, 70, 80, 100) yards. **CC** ~ 40 (45, 55, 60, 80) yards. **Needles:** dpns or longer circular needles for magic loop method. US4 /3.5mm circular needle and US5 /3.75mm circular needle. **Notions:** 2 stitch markers, tapestry needle. **Sizing:** Instructions are given for tiny baby size, with (small baby / 0-6m, older baby / 6-12m, toddler / 1-2 years, small child / 3-6 years) sizes in parentheses. **To fit head circumference ~** 12-13, (13-15, 15-16.5, 16.5-18, 18-19) inches / 30-33 (33-38, 38-42, 42-46, 46-49) cm with approx. 1 – 2.5 inches / 3 - 6 cm of negative ease at the brim. **Gauge:** 24 st & 32 rows /4 inches in stockinette stitch. Adjust needle size if necessary to get gauge. **Pattern notes:** This hat is worked in the round from the bottom up, in two colour stripes with a slipped stitch pattern on the sides and finished with Kitchener stitch.
