Some folks are getting hung up on the [d3ctog stitch.][10] It is a cluster worked only into one stitch, not a decrease over three stitches. ## "Dear Betty, I think your Ravelry link is broken! This isn't the right pattern." ## The humble 6-Day Kid Blanket has been crocheted by hundreds if not THOUSANDS of people, and no two of those afghans are alike. If you see this pattern on [Pinterest][11] or elsewhere (thank you all for posting and linking everywhere!) made in different colors, know that those crocheters took this pattern and changed the yarn and used the formula given in the pattern to adjust the number of foundation chain stitches to create a blanket that looks much different than the one shown on the pattern. But yes, it is the same pattern. Some of the crocheters who made 'ghans off of this pattern didn't change colors on rows 5 and 7 like I did. [Here is an article][12] to help you decide how to change colors if you would like a different effect. I'm sorry, I don't know who made the lion applique either, but you can find one by googling crochet lion applique.
