Basic Granny Square Blanket

Update October 2021 - I have taken the decision to cease publishing patterns as of Summer 2021, in the hope of moving on to something new. Sarah -x- ------------------------------------------------------- A bright and cheerful traditional granny square pattern - this blanket can be made in any colour combination you choose, and is ideal for a baby blanket/receiving blanket, lap blanket, sofa throw, car blanket and many other uses. Once finished, the blanket will measure approx. 40'' x 40'', when using Light Worsted Weight/DK yarn and a 4mm hook. This blanket pattern can also be continued to make an even bigger final blanket - i.e. Queen size or King size. Pattern calls for the following stitches: . Chain Stitch . Slip Stitch .
