This stylish, airy shawl uses just one skein of beautiful yarn to create a very wearable accessory. Snuggle it around your neck like a scarf or drape it over your shoulders for a more elegant look. Rattan is long & slender and knitted from the top down. It uses simple, familiar stitches which makes it an entertaining knit and a great project for knitters of all levels. Includes written and charted instructions and directions on how to knit a larger Rattan Shawl. **FINISHED MEASUREMENTS** Wingspan approx. 75”/190 cm (blocked). Depth approx. 11”/28 cm (blocked). **GAUGE** 18 sts and 40 rows = 4”/10 cm in garter stitch, after blocking. **YARN** 1 skein of Tosh Merino Light by Madelinetosh. (100% superwash Merino; 100g = 420 yds/384 m) in "winter wheat". Approx. 420 yds/384 m of fingering-weight yarn. **NEEDLES & NOTIONS** Size US 5/3.75 mm circular needles at least 24”/60 cm long.
