Cables, dayflower lace, and a leafy edging adorn the edge of this crescent-shaped shawlette, perfect for that special small skein. The narrow lace border is worked long-ways, using a method of keeping live stitches on the needle that eliminates the need to pick up stitches for the body of the shawl. This pattern contains lace charts as well as full written directions for the lace border. **Materials** Approximately 300 yds of an appropriate lace-weight yarn (Sample shown in Malabrigo Lace Superwash, Archangel) US 4/3.5 mm 32 inch circular needle (or size needed to obtain gauge) Yarn needle **Gauge** 19 sts x 46 rows in 4 inches (10 cm) in Stockinette stitch, after blocking (Note: exact gauge is not necessary) Having trouble getting started with the m1e?
