Plain socks (or vanilla socks) are perfect for showcasing a self-striped yarn, variegated yarn, darker yarns that don't often show a lot of pattern detail. All only needing a single (350-400yd) skein. It's a mindless project that offers hours of relaxation.. I’m sharing my way of doing a Vanilla Sock. They call it vanilla, because in most cases, there isn’t a pattern. Just straight knitting. I include cuff and leg stitch patterns if you choose to get fancy.
