Chicken Egg Hunt Basket Easter Bowl

This lovely chicken basket can hold up to 5 or 6 eggs (depending on what size you make it) and will look so cute sitting on your breakfast table! A basket like this can also be used during your Easter egg hunt! This pattern will guide you to crochet a Chicken Basket as shown in the pictures. It's made of 3 strands of acrylic yarn (8 ply / DK) held together and crochet hook size J (6 mm). 3 Different colors of yarn have been used to create a speckled look. Finished size will be approx. 6.6" tall (17 cm ). **Note:** Using thinner or thicker yarn and a matching size hook will result in a smaller or larger version of this chicken. The pattern is worked in continuous rounds, from the bottom up; body, head and tail are made in one part.
