If working garment in a heavier yarn the fabric will be less stretchy, so choose a size with less negative ease. Garment is shown on 2 models for comparison - Cassy (33" bust) is wearing size S (32.5") with 0.5" negative ease, and Nina (38" bust) is wearing size S (32.5") with 5.5" negative ease.
