Baby & Child Sophisticate

This adorable baby and child sweater is worked from the top down with traditional raglan shaping. The garter stitch collar and button band are shaped with short rows and are picked up and worked after the body is knitted. The pattern is designed to be worn with two to three inches of positive ease. **MATERIALS** *Baby:* Approximately 235 (270, 295, 325, 360) yds of worsted weight yarn. Sample shown in Knit Picks Swish Worsted (110 yds/101 m per 50 g skein; 100% Merino wool) in Squirrel Heather, 3 (3, 3, 3, 4) skeins. *Child:* Approximately 440 (515, 585, 690, 755) yds of worsted weight yarn.
