UPDATE! A new version of this pattern is now available including sizes to fit Preemie, 14" and 16" chests. A sweet little cardi for, this simple crossover front top is easy to knit with just a little shaping and seaming required. Knitted in a soft DK baby yarn, you will also need two buttons and length of baby ribbon for the inside fastening. Will fit a baby less than 5lbs, approx 12"/30cm chest. Actual chest measurement of finished cardi is approx 15"/ 38cm. Additional sizes to fit 14"/36cm chest (finished size 16"/41cm) and 16"/41cm chest (finished size 18"/46cm).
