It starts with 2x2 Rib then is worked in simple checkered pattern of knit and purl stitches.* **Size** One size: to fit 58-60 cm / 23-24” head circumference. Length from brim to top - about 22 cm / 9”. **Yarn** 1 skein of Big Merino Hug by Rosy Green Wool: 100% merino. 160 m / 175y per 100 g. Shown in colorway 56 "Coffee Bean”. Or any other aran weight yarn. **Needles** 5.0 mm / US #8 circular needle 40 cm/16" long and/or dpns (or preferred needles for decreasing circumference), or appropriate size to get gauge, 4.5 mm / US #7 circular needle 40 cm/16" long or dpns, or one size smaller than gauge needles. **Other** 1 stitch marker, tapestry needle for weaving. **Gauge** 16 sts and 24 rnds in 10 cm / 4" in St st worked in the rnd with needle 5.0 mm / US #8, after washing. Take time to save time and check your gauge. Adjust needle size if necessary.
