Classic Octopus Hat

This pattern is for a comfy hat with four friendly octopuses swimming above the band. **Colorwork is charted**. It is worked in two colors **in the round**, shaped with decreases around the crown. **Any worsted weight yarn will work well**. The band of the hat is double-thick ribbing for extra warmth, and extra stretch. An optional tassel or pom-pom gives this hat an added touch of playfulness, just in case the critters aren’t enough!
