MATERIALS To make one placemat, you will need Purl Soho’s [Cotton Pure][1], 100% organically grown cotton yarn. Each skein of this sport-weight yarn is 279 yards/ 100 grams. - Main Color (MC): 1 skein; approximately 240 yards required - Contrast Color (CC): 1 skein; approximately 34 yards required You'll also need... - A size E (3.5 mm) [crochet hook][2] Making a set? One skein of CC will make up to 8 placemats! Just be sure to pick up a skein of MC for every placemat you plan to crochet, or switch the MC and CC for a set of 2 placemats, using only 2 skeins.
