*Any pattern questions are welcome* [here][1]
REViVAL (dedicated to SusieM) is the re-written pattern of my Revival sweater, first published 10 years ago (**last 7 pictures**). It marked the very first time I had used the contiguous method, which was invented in 2011 by Australian knitter Susie Myers and which has become one of the most used constructions in top-down seamless knitting since. For this new pattern I overhauled the original pattern completely and besides many tweaks it also features four additional sizes. REViVAL (dedicated to SusieM) celebrates the brilliance of Susie Myers on the occasion of my 100th pattern!!! and, as Susie told me, Revival was the first ever published sweater design based on her continguous method. Find Susie's [contiguous group here][3]
SIZES 1 (2, 3, 4, 5)(6, 7, 8, 9) Finished bust circumference in cm/inch: 80 (89, 99, 108, 118)(129, 139, 148, 158) cm / 31.5 (35, 39, 42.5, 46.5)(50.75, 54.75, 58.25, 62.25)" #sizeinclusive The sweater is intended to be worn with 3-12cm (1.25-4.75") of positive ease. You start the yoke by increasing for a contiguous shoulder. Then you increase for the sleeves and then also for the body along the markers down to the sleeve separation. Sleeve stitches are then placed on hold, underarm stitches are cast on, and you continue to knit the body in the round to the bottom ribbing. After the body is completed, sleeve stitches are placed back onto the needles to knit the sleeve in stockinette stitch in the round. Then you pick up the neckline stitches to work the neckline finish. -- **Errata:** Page 7, NECK FINISHING, wrong side short rows: all short rows are missing the sM (slip marker) after reaching the BOR M. It should read: **mds, purl back to BOR M, sM, 1x1 rib...** -- [1]: https://www.ravelry.com/discuss/ankestrick-designs/4118245/ [2]: https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/revival-2 [3]: https://www.ravelry.com/groups/contiguous?s=tab
