Coastal Drift Mittens

The Coastal Drift design is inspired by the beautiful Prince Edward Island beaches and the drifting sands. The mittens are knitted in the round starting at the cuff. There's an elegant lace detail at the centre of each mitten. These mittens can be done with two strands, a lace mohair and a fingering weight held together or any DK weight yarn. 2 sizes, measure hand circumference. Size 1: 9" - 23cm Size 2: 9.25 - 23.5cm Approximate yardage for DK weight, (so if you use 2 strands you need the same yardage for both strands) size 1: 130 -140 yards size 2: 150 - 160 yards You can make the cuff longer if you wish, keep in mind, it will require more yarn.
