Edgar Slipover

Knitting Pattern for an oversized slipover with a decorative pattern in twisted ribbing, a split hem and a V neck with a double folded collar in sizes XS | S | M (L | XL | 2XL) 3XL | 4XL | 5XL. **Please note: Instructions of how to work a round neck instead of the V neck are added to the German and the English version of the pattern and can be found in the appendix.** **Structure:** The slipover is worked top down in one piece in stockinette stitch and with a decorative ribbed pattern along the armholes and on both sides of the body, flowing into the split. First, the back part is worked back and forth in rows with increases to shape the armholes. Then, stitches for the front part are picked up along the back part and the front is then worked in two parts with increases for the V neck and the armholes. After joining front and back part to the round, the body is worked in stockinette stitch and the decorative ribbing under the armpits grows due to a bunch of increases and later a few decreases. Finally, a split hem and a double folded collar in twisted ribbing are worked to finish the garment. The fit of the slipover is oversized and therefore a very comfortable garment, but along the shoulders, the slipover is a little bit more fitted. The armholes are relatively wide.
