The cardigan is knitted top down in garter stitch; the body back and forth, and the sleeves in the round with a circular needle (or double pointed needles). At the back of the neck, there are short rows to improve the fit. The neck edge, front edges, armholes and bottom edge are finished with an I-cord edge which is knitted at the same time as the main work progresses.
