The Christmas Baubles Blanket

Using bright retro colours to represent the baubles on a Christmas tree, this blanket is definitely not a shrinking violet. The brightness of the bauble motifs are offset by the deep denim background, which also includes a dark green to suggest the evergreen colour of the tree itself. The centre section of sixteen bauble squares is the main feature, and they are echoed in the four outer squares. There are also sections of simple granny squares and granny stripes, and there is a special edging of little baubles (or are they fairy lights?) to complete the blanket.
