It was written using standard US terminology. APPROXIMATE SIZE OF THE FINISHED AMIGURUMI GHOST: The ghost will be approx. 5.5” (14 cm) tall, without the hat. And the hat will be approx. 2.5” (6.5 cm) tall. YARN USED: Worsted weight (#4) 100% Cotton yarn. Approximate amount of yarn needed: Ghost: White, 1.57 oz (45 g) or 76 yds (69 m). Hat: Black Currant Classis (purple), 0.23 oz (7 g) or 11 yds (10 m), and a small amount of black for the hat stripe. Mouth: use tiny scraps of pink yarn or thread (or other color you like). MATERIALS AND TOOLS: 3.5 mm (US E) hook Stitch Marker A pair of 8mm or 10mm safety eyes Tool for placing safety eyes (optional) Stuffing fiber Stuffing tool (optional), I use a hemostat.
