At first attempt, this character was only going to be a bunny but as I finished the bunny I realized with a couple of tiny changes we could also have a fantastic wooly sheep. So now you have both a Wooly Sheep and a best friend Wooly Bunny included in the pattern. The loop stitch, which turns into fringe, is a bit tedious but it’s only every other row for a very short time. You can do it and it’s completely worth the effort in the end. Sit back and enjoy the Wooly Sheep + Bunny ride! This is one of my favorite projects ever. The yarn I used is our fantastic Wisconsin Woolen Spun Worsted, you really need a wooly yarn for this project to make the cut loops turn into a scrumptious, squishy coat of wool. This yarn is perfect for making the loop stitch, which is then cut into a fringey coat, because with the woolen spun yarn the fibers grab onto each other and don’t slip. I have made and included in the pattern 5 exclusive video tutorials to help you along the way. The loop stitch video includes how to do the loop stitch holding the yarn in both your right and left hand.  I think you’ll love this one-of-a-kind super-amazing knit toy. It’s really a stunner of a project, and it’s not only for kids but for all sheep and bunny lovers alike. I wish you could reach through the screen to give the samples a good squeeze. They feel so good to hold.  **Finished Measurement** 8 1/2 inches from the tip of toe to the top of the head. **Yarn** Barrett Wool Co.
