Skill Level: Intermediate Skills Needed: Fair Isle color work, knitting in the round, using a chart, decreases. Sizes: One Size Materials: MC: 110 yards worsted weight yarn CC: 100 yards worsted weight yarn US size 7/4.5mm-16 inch circular needle US size 74.5mm- DPNs or longer size 7/4.5mm circular needle for magic loop to complete crown of hat. US size 5/3.75mm-16 inch circular needle for ribbing. Stitch marker Scissors Tapestry needle Gauge: 5 stitches and 6 rows = 1 inch in St st. Pattern Notes: This hat is designed to fit close to the head in a beanie style. For a looser fitting hat, go up one needle size and add 1-2 inches of length prior to beginning crown decreases. Additional yarn will be needed for a larger size.
