Mabel Bunny & Baby

Mabel was our firstborn super chunky animal at Wool Couture. We wanted to create a range of animals that were oversized and made with our Cheeky Chunky yarn, which is a super bulky (super chunky) merino yarn. Mini Mabel was made with our Beau Baby yarn, which is a light worsted (DK) merino yarn. Mabel Bunny was always a girl from the start, even before we had designed her - we wanted to create an animal that would be everyone's best friend, with a soft and calm feeling that would give the best cuddles ever. Rabbits are also co-founder of Wool Courture Ali's favourite animals. This delightful project is perfect for someone who has learnt the basics of crochet.
