Tankar Tee

Tankar tee is a slightly cropped loose-fitting boxy t-shirt with ribbing and garter stitch details around the neckline. Wide boat neck with a dropped-shoulder construction and shaping at the underarm make this a very flattering and classic look for all body sizes. This pattern is written for ten sizes with a finished bust of 79 – 166 cm / 31 – 65.5 inches with an option to adjust the sleeve circumference. Recommended positive ease is 5 – 15 cm / 2 – 6 inches. This t-shirt is worked from top down starting from the back panel. Back and front are worked flat separately. Shoulders and neckline are shaped after the ribbing using short rows. Back and front are joined in the round at the underarm and the rest of the body is worked seamlessly. Shoulders are seamed together.
