Body & tentacles worked in one piece, in the round from top down with one round worked Back Loop Only. New yarn is joined to unused front loops to work lower body overhang. Instructions are the same for all sizes - they just use different yarns with corresponding hook so that stuffing does not show through - typically 1 size smaller than indicted on yarn wrapper. Length of tentacles can easily be adjusted. XL - 5" in Diameter, 11" long, Wt #5: e.g. 60g So Crafty Baby Yarn, 6.5mm hook L - 3" diameter, 6.5" long, Wt #4: e.g. 28g Red Heart Super Saver 5mm hook. M - 2.5" diameter, 4.5" long Wt #3: e.g. 22g So Crafty Rainbow or 14g Sparkle Glamorous yarn S - 2" diameter, 4" long Wt #1 or 2: eg. 10g Cotton Kings 8/4 cotton, 10g Women's Institute Soft and Silky 4ply XL- toddler toy L & M - suitable for a mobile/hanging above cot/pram S - Could be a bag decoration/fidget toy/key fob You could even use thread & make earrings!
