Waffle Loop Sweater

**WAFFLE_LOOP_SWEATER** is a sweater with a relaxed, straight silhouette and high neckline. It is detailed with a waffle texture and cables as well as rib panels down the sides. The sweater is worked top down. First, stitches are cast-on for the back of the neck. These stitches are then worked flat in waffle texture with rib on either side of the work, while increases are made at the same time to shape the top of the back section. Then, stitches are picked up along the shoulder edges. The front shoulders are worked flat then joined with a few newly cast-on sts in between. The front and back pieces are the joined and the body is worked in the round in waffle texture, with cables, and rib down the sides. Stitches for the sleeves are then picked up and worked in waffle texture in the round. The sleeves are shaped with decreases and the cuffs are worked in rib.
