Space Blanket

A baby/children's blanket made in a theme for all space lovers, that shows the planets in the solar system and the galaxy we all love. I designed this blanket with a unique "corner-to-corner", quarter-circle design. The natural curve that is crocheted shapes the sun and then the orbital lines for all the planets. The stitch used works up more quick (same height as a double crochet), BUT, it leaves no spaces between the stitches. It's a warm crocheted fabric. The blanket is about 38” wide X 50” long. Skill: Intermediate (to create this design you must pay close attention to stitch counts).
