Or, buy both at the same time for an automatic 30% off EACH pattern :) thank you SO much for the support for these designs!** *** Carlisle is the name of an Old English town, it has been given the meaning “from the walled city” – it stands firm, resilient. The strong lines in this sweater remind me of this sentiment, giving the sweater structure as if they hold it up. These lines dominate the sweater as they draw your eye down the shoulders, toward the lines of the body, and into the hem. The signature feature of this sweater is the permanently folded collar, body hem, and sleeve cuffs, giving comfortable edges that don’t flair outward with wear (my biggest pet peeve for sweaters)! German short rows are worked to slightly raise the back, while subtly swooping the front of the collar downward. This is the saddle shoulder version of this sweater – I recommend this fit for individuals with wider shoulders, or a more athletic build, choosing at most about 5 inches of positive ease (as opposed to the raglan yoke version of this sweater, which looks flattering with additional positive ease - if that is your preferred fit I recommend you check out that version)! I provide twelve sizes to choose from, giving the option to fine-tune your sweater for the fit you prefer. With simple stitches and a flattering fit, this sweater has quickly become a wardrobe staple for me!
