Ginger Sweater

The Ginger Sweater is a wonderfully soft, roomy sweater with a beautiful cable pattern. The high neck, hem & cuffs are worked in twisted rib stitch. The sweater is knitted seamlessly from top to bottom. First the collar is worked, followed by the yoke where German Short Rows are used for shaping the neckline. The rest of the sweater (yoke, body and sleeves) is worked in the round. Ginger is the perfect winter knit. A sweater you want to live in during the cold months. The pattern of the Ginger Sweater was first released in December 2022. As it was one of my ‘earlier’ patterns, I decided to give it an update and add more sizes at the same time. The Ginger Sweater is part of the growing Ginger collection. Each passing year witnesses the addition of new designs, every one of them incorporating the same elegant cable pattern. Keep in mind that the final measurements of the sweater already take these extra 15 - 16.5 cm (6 - 6.5 inches) into account. Ease is a personal preference.
