Poppies are possibly my favorite flower (but this does seem to change with whatever season we’re in!). I love how beautiful and bright they are and how they happily grow wildly but are too fragile to pick and bring home. With this in mind, I’ll suggest leaving the
poppies in the field where they belong for everyone
to enjoy and instead, create these happy poppy socks
that can be worn throughout every season!
**Construction Notes**
Knit from the top down with a ribbed cuff, this sock includes an all-over colorwork pattern of a
poppy in two colors throughout the leg and foot.
The heel is constructed as a short row heel.
**Sizing**

To fit (foot circumference) 7 (8½, 9½) inches /

Any fingering weight sock yarn can be used for
this sock pattern as long as you can obtain the
same gauge. A good substitute would be Brooklyn
Tweed Peerie Yarn.
