A Journey Away

A Journey Away socks are worked cuff down. They have a forest-themed colourwork scenery on the leg and texture running all the way to the toes. The pattern features a textured contrast colour french heel. The pattern is written for magic loop, but can easily be worked with dpns. There are two versions of charts included, one better for screens and another for printing. **Size:** 1-2-3 (52-60-68 sts) *Finished circumference = 7-8.25-9.5” / 18-21-24 cm* **Yarn:** Tukuwool Sock (80 % Finnish wool, 20% polyamide, 160 m / 50 g) or other sport weight yarn in two colours. Shown in MC: Havu, CC: Runo. 2 skeins of MC, 1 skein of CC. The required yardage depends on the size chosen and the length of the foot. **Needles:** 2,5 mm (US 1 ½) and 3 mm (US 2 ½) - 32” / 80 cm circular needle for magic loop (or dpns if you prefer). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the right gauge. **Gauge:** 14 sts x 20 rnds = 2 x 2” / 5 x 5 cm in one-colour stockinette worked in the round (after blocking). **Others:** a stitch marker, tapestry needle
