Stargazer Blanket (US+UK terms)

**I have always been inspired by the strong geometric patterns of traditional patch work. The star motif is such a wonderful pattern and is perfect for a cosy crochet blanket.** My pattern uses the muted rainbow tones of Stylecraft Bellissima and Bambino. I have used a soft cream to contrast and the gaps between the stars appear to pop. You could make a simple baby blanket using just one central star. Or a lap blanket combining 4 star motifs together. My large blanket makes a happy cover for an English King sized bed. You will need to have basic crochet skills and know how to make granny square. The pattern has a stitch diagram and a colour schematic.
