Prairie Meadow Fox

The fox on this blanket is sleeping peacefully and will hopefully help keep your little one sleeping peacefully too. Traditionally, "they" claim a baby blanket is about 40" square (who is "they" and when did they decide this?). So this blanket is more like a throw blanket but I had babies in mind when designing it so I think of it as a baby blanket. *Matching pillow:* [Prairie Meadow Pillow](/patterns/library/prairie-meadow-pillow) As with all of my patterns, you have the option of using the interlocking crochet technique or the overlay mosaic crochet technique. Each technique has its own file. And each file has written line-by-line instructions and a chart. The mosaic chart has X's showing where to do your dropped double crochets. **Interlocking crochet / LFM crochet file** - line-by-line instructions - a one-page chart - a multi-page chart **Overlay Mosaic Crochet file** - line-by-line instructions - instructions for optional envelope border - instructions on reading a chart - a one-page chart marked with X's for mosaic crochet - a multi-page chart marked with X's for mosaic crochet As always, I am so grateful for my testers. Mosaic crochet uses single crochet and double crochet stitches. The double crochet stitches cover some of the other color's single crochet stitches to create the design. My patterns instruct you to cut your yarn at the end of each row. The back is striped but often gives a faint impression of the pattern on the front (sort of like illusion knitting).
