EASY Personalised Summer Rainbow Baby Blanket

This easy personalised summer baby blanket crochet pattern includes the bobble charts for all letters of the alphabet with simple, easy to follow, yet detailed instructions so you can create any name you would like. The blanket can be made with most yarn weights and would make a stunning new baby gift, christening or birthday present that can be treasured forever. The finished size in DK yarn with a 5mm hook is approx 75cm wide x 78cm high. The pattern provides the stitch multiple so the blanket can be made bigger or smaller if desired. The blanket shown in the photos made in the standard size requires 150g Yarn colour A (white), 50g Yarn colour B (yellow), 50g Yarn colour C (green), 50g Yarn colour D (blue), 50g Yarn colour E (lilac), 50g Yarn colour F (peach). But you can make it in any colour combination you wish, using a total of approximately 400g of yarn. The simple yet effective stitch in the main section of the blanket provides lovely texture and with only a 3 stitch and 1 row repeat, it is very easy. Bobbles are used to create the name of your choice and the filet crochet technique border creates a flat and square frame to your blanket that adds a gorgeous professional looking finishing touch and is perfect for summer months. It looks adorable in a 5 rainbow colour + white combination but can be made with absolutely any colour combination you like. It requires approx 400g of DK yarn it total. The name can be created in one solid colour or each letter can be a different colour (as in the photos). The pattern gives instructions on how to do this.
