First Adventures

First Adventures is suitable for beginners who have mastered the granny square and are now looking for the next challenge. You will learn join-as-you-go and continuous join and I’ve included step by step tutorials for all the techniques used. I have used Sirdar Hayfield Bonus DK 100g balls. 4 x Cream and 1 each of Rustic Pink, Oyster Pink, Fields of Gold, Oatmeal, Mauve Marl, Silver Mist, Ocean Blue, Lagoon Blue, Pearl Grey and Apple. I used most of the cream and around ½ ball of the other colours, so this would be a really great stash busting project. This pattern is available to download in both UK and US terms.
