CLAiRE is worked seamlessly from the top down. The neck is shaped with short rows and you work the dropped shoulder with contiguous increases along the shoulder markers. Then you work the back and front separately for the length of the armhole. Join front and back and work the body in rounds down to the bottom ribbing. You pick up sts for the sleeves to knit them down to the ribbing.
