Worked from the top down entirely in one piece, the design features raglan construction, a button band worked as you go with a slipped stitch selvage, and classic 1x1 ribbing on the cuffs and hem. The pattern includes 9 sizes and an optional adjustment for customizing the sleeve length. → [Click here to download a free preview with all the pattern details][3], including sizing information, yarn requirements, gauge and needles, and a full schematic. <hr> . ݁₊ ⊹ ₊ ݁. <big><big>SIZING</big></big> **FINISHED BUST/CHEST CIRCUMFERENCE:** In inches: (38, 42, 46) \[50, 54, 58\] {62, 66, 70} In centimeters: (95, 105, 115) \[125, 135, 145\] {155, 165, 175} To choose your size, measure the circumference of your torso around the fullest part of your chest and choose a size that fits with 6-10”/15-25cm of positive ease. **Note about fit:** This cardigan is designed to have an extremely relaxed fit in the shoulders/sleeves (somewhere between a standard raglan and a dolman). You should expect the armholes to hit lower and the bicep to have more ease than other raglan patterns I have released (e.g. Ursa). *In the photos, Jaq is wearing a size 7 sweater (62”/155cm) with 8”/20cm of positive ease at the chest and 3”/7.5cm positive ease at the bicep, and Ivana is wearing a size 4 sweater (50”/125cm) with 7”/17.5cm of positive ease at the chest and 5”/12.5cm positive ease at the bicep.* To see how COTTAGE looks across the size range with varying amounts of ease, check out the [test knitting round up here][4]! <hr> . ݁₊ ⊹ ₊ ݁. <big><big>GAUGE, NEEDLES, NOTIONS</big></big> **Gauge:** 20 sts and 32 rows over 4”/10cm in stockinette after blocking **Recommended needles:** Main needles: US 6 (4 mm) 40"/100cm circular Smaller needles: US 4 (3.5mm) 40"/100cm circular and DPNs for cuffs if not using magic loop **Notions:** stitch markers, locking stitch markers, stitch holders or scrap yarn, darning needle, 5-6 15-22mm buttons (depending on preference) <hr> . ݁₊ ⊹ ₊ ݁. <big><big>YARN</big></big> This cardigan was designed in [Rowan Lane Fibres Repose][5] (437 yards/400 meters/100g), a fingering weight 50% corriedale/50% mohair blend with a loose ply and subtle halo. This yarn at the pattern gauge makes for a relatively loose fabric, but the halo from the mohair fills in the space between stitches and the corriedale gives this otherwise airy fabric structure and hold.
