Giant Axolotl

Axolotls are a miracle of nature. They never seem to grow up, keeping their gills and living underwater their whole lives. That's what makes them so adorable though - the cute plushy gills, the way they seem to always be smiling, and the way they float gracefully with the current. Made with super plushy soft yarn, this Axy is sure to delight all who cross its path! This Axolotl measures 24 inches from nose to tail and can be made of any inifinite color combos - Bernat Baby Blanket, Bernat Dappled Blanket, or even a similar yarn from a different company. Go wild! This pattern will use about 3/4 a 10.5 oz skein of Bernat Blanket and about 1/2 a skein of Hometown USA. Feel free to substitute for Hometown USA with another yarn of equal thickness, as long as the yarn contains at least 3 plies - this is important for the fluffiest of gills!
