Baby Diamonds Blanket

The Crochet Baby Diamonds Blanket is the perfect weight gift for spring and summer babies. It’s very light and airy to swaddle your newborn. I mashed together a little Modern Granny with Filet Crochet. I used Stitch Fiddle to lay out my rows. It’s a nifty website and fun to play with the grids. To keep the blanket light, I used Bernat® Baby Sport™ yarn in the big balls, but only used just over half of each one. You will have plenty of yarn left over to make matching booties or hats if you’d like.
