This pattern includes instructions for four different yarn weights ranging from 4ply/fingering to 10ply/worsted and three different head sizes for each yarn weight (child, adult and bigger adult). You choose which one you'll work with! Perfect for stash-diving or just rolling with any yarn that you love. Knit using Broken Rib stitch, this relax fit beanie features a fold up rim, generous length, simple crown shaping and can be worn two ways, depending on your mood. The ribbing gives you a classic, rib look or you can flip it inside out for columns of stippled stitches. Designed to be worn with 0-5 cm / 0-2” of negative ease (meaning, a finished size 0-5 cm smaller than your head measurement). The length is designed to be 2.5 cm / 1” longer than your natural head height for a slightly slouchy look, but feel free to knit the length shorter for a more fitted crown if that’s what you prefer.
