Hygge (Danish) – a quality of coziness and comfortable conviviality that engenders a feeling of contentment or well-being (regarded as a defining characteristic of Danish culture). This jacket is meant to embody coziness and comfort; what you would wear on a chilly summer evening at a campsite with friends, or while cuddling your family with a cup of coffee during a chilly morning on holiday. Its simple raglan construction, made with worsted weight yarn, means fast progress that will keep you entertained. It is a loose jacket, worked seamlessly top-down, with wide sleeves and a mosaic crochet motif that runs along bottom of body and sleeves. And while the sample shown has a cropped length and three-quarter sleeves, the jacket would be just as effective as a tunic length.
