By The Shore Socks

The inspiration for this sock was born one day at the shore. Watching the waves rolling up on the beach and the undulating dunes at my back. I wanted to see how the yarn moved and played across the front of the sock. This is a simple lace panel that gives the sock lots of meditative stockinette with interesting details to keep you going. The pattern looks great on lots of different types of yarn...Give it a try! Check out my tester's project pages for inspiration. The sock is knit from the top down with a contrast heel flap and traditional gusset. I finished it with my version of a rounded toe. Comes in three sizes: Small 56 stitch, (Medium 64 stitch, Large 72 stitch). 7 (8, 9) inches / 18 (20.25, 23) cm, approximate foot circumference. 1 skein of fingering weight yarn and 15-20g of contrast yarn required.
