Just Mosaic It

If you've never tried mosaic knitting before, this might be the time. It's an easy way to get colour effects - you only work with one colour per row, the stitches in the other colour are slipped to form the motif. This is quite a simple motif - good for a beginner, or for a knitter of any ability who wants to concentrate more on the onscreen action than their knitting. You can make a small accessory version with about 200m/220yds of each yarn (topline of approx. 150cm/60") or simply allow more yarn if you want it to be bigger and wear it more like a shawl.
