It's a surprisingly easy to work thick cushy cabled hat. It's easy because you only have to cable every 6 rows, the others are just rib. And the whole hat is made with the same size needles, so you can settle in and just knit while watching the sports. Allow approx. 180m/200yds (you can use aran or worsted (2 stitch counts are provided). The pattern contains charts and written instructions, so you can work the way YOU prefer.
