So I thought about different stitches that I could combine in order to create something that would naturally work with the shape of a foot. This pattern is like magic! The front panel bends with the ankle and the back side stretches with the heel, no matter how high of an instep you have. This worsted weight version (fingering version and other weight versions are to come) is great as a house sock, or worn in roomy boots. They will keep your feet toasty when the air is chilly. (But honestly, who want’s to cover these beauties with boots anyway, lol) I gave these out as holiday gifts. The recipients as well as my testers are LOVING these socks.
