This is a very stretchy stitch pattern, and as long as you met gauge in your washed and dried swatch, it will block out to the correct size. * Each increase round in the yoke increases by 8 sts. * All dc/FPTreb (even) rounds are worked in MC. All sc (odd) rounds are worked in CC. * When starting a round with a dc, I prefer to use a standing double crochet (SDC). You may use a (ch 2, dc) or a ch 3 instead. Using a SDC makes the seam almost imperceptible. * When you are working your dc/FPTreb rounds, each time you place a FPTreb around the dc two rows below, you will skip the corresponding sc. This keeps your stitch count accurate. * All FPTreb sts will be worked only into dc sts below. You will never work a FPTreb around another FPTreb. * In the larger sizes, crocheters may choose to whip stitch a few of the underarm stitches together to create a slightly narrower sleeve. If the sleeve is going to be bigger than you would prefer, make it your own, and be sure you are starting your sleeves with an even number of sts. * You can carry your yarn up the inside of the sweater while you work.
