Seaside Celebration Blanket

This pattern is for my 'Seaside Celebration' blanket which is a special anniversary version of the ‘Seaside Stash Busting Blanket’. To celebrate 4 years since the original blanket was launched, this new smaller version includes 31 weeks of the original blanket and has been crocheted using 10 all new colours from ‘Emu’ yarns. The finished blanket measures approximately 102cm x 120cm (40 x 47in) using DK yarns. This took quite some thought and yes, some good old maths skills, to work out which new stitch count would work best and 156 stitches works very well for a lot of the stitch patterns. I have inevitably had to change the beginnings and ends of some rows from the original and write these into this pattern. Hence this 'Seaside Celebration' Blanket is a little like a whole new pattern!
