Cime Tempestose

> **Enjoy the 40 % off offer until 22. February 2026. No code needed.** *Cime tempestose* (Wuthering Heights in English) is a tribute to our mountains. It's designed for a special event that took place on 11 December for the international mountain day. The yoke is worked with waves stitch, bobbles and yarn overs; these stitches used together create "spirals" that "move" the yoke and recall the snow-covered mountain peaks hit by the wind. It is a top-down, circular yoke sweater. Gradual increases are made in the yoke (made up of a single chart that contains the increases) up to the sleeves that will be put on hold onto holder or scrap yarn and then resumed later. This way there will be no seams. We used two yarns held together: a 100% wool yarn (Fin) held double together with a single thread of a mohair yarn (Stil). The effect of these two yarns together gives a very delicate melange texture. Alternatively, the pattern is also designed to be knitted with a cotton yarn ( Mjuk) always combined with mohair. You can choose from a long or short sleeve version and you can easily customize the body length. *Cime tempestose* comes in 11 sizes (from 80 to 171 cm [31.4 to 67.3“ ] bust circumference). Nasce per un evento speciale che si è svolto l’11 Dicembre in occasione della giornata internazionale della Montagna. Lo sprone è interamente lavorato con punti a flutti, noccioline e gettate, questi punti usati insieme creano delle “volute” che “movimentano” lo sprone e ricordano le cime montane innevante e colpite dal vento. Questo modello è lavorato in tondo dall’alto verso il basso, si eseguono degli aumenti graduali nello sprone (un unico schema contenente gli aumenti) fino ad arrivare alle maniche che verranno messe in sospeso su un filo per poi essere riprese successivamente. Abbiamo usato due filati insieme, un filato in lana (Fin) usato a due capi e un filato in mohair (Stil) ad un capo. L’effetto di questi due filati insieme regala una delicatissima texture melange. In alternativa il modello è pensato per essere realizzato anche con un filo di cotone Mjuk abbinato sempre al mohair. *Cime tempestose* si può realizzare a maniche corte o a maniche lunghe, nel pattern trovate le spiegazioni per entrambe le versioni. Anche la lunghezza del corpo può essere variata facilmente. Nel pattern sono disponibili 11 taglie (da 80 a 171 cm di circonferenza busto), la guida alle taglie e la tabella all'interno del PDF ti aiuteranno a scegliere la vestibilitá.
