Maglia Marzapane

Il freddo che avanza, un filato che tira fuori dal cassetto della memoria, dei dolci ricordi d’infanzia. Emozioni e fili che si intrecciano per dare vita ad un burroso, coccolo e romantico maglioncino nordico: Marzapane. Lavorato ad uncinetto in top-down dall’alto verso il basso, si realizza dapprima la circonferenza del collo, con una lavorazione a mezze maglie alte che verrà poi chiusa circolarmente. Sulla base del collo si inizierà la lavorazione dello sprone a punto fantasia che andrà ampliandosi con degli aumenti. Si dividerà poi lo sprone per il corpo e le maniche, continuando a lavorare le parti divise con il punto fantasia stesso. Il lavoro top-down ognuno può realizzarlo costruendolo su misura, in base alla propria fisicità e naturalmente seguendo le indicazioni di base del pattern. Consiglio sempre di provare spesso il lavoro in corso, per verificare la vestibilità, così da poter ottenere la taglia giusta e più adatta alle forme del proprio corpo. A volte solo con dei piccoli cambiamenti, come allargare o allungare di qualche maglia/giro (aggiungere o togliere un motivo multiplo del punto fantasia) e/o utilizzare un uncinetto di mezzo numero più piccolo o più grande, possiamo fare la differenza e modellare il proprio progetto. Marzapane is worked in one piece from the top down. The turtleneck ribbing will be made first, with a band of half double crochets that will be seamed into a tube. At the base of the turtleneck collar, it starts the flower stitch pattern, which will be enlarged with increases to form the yoke. When Yoke is done, it will be divided for the body and sleeves, wich will be worked with the same pattern. The beauty of the top-down work is that you can try it on as you go and adjust the fit to create a tailor-made garment, of course following the basic indications of the pattern but also according to you physicality. I always recommend trying often the work in progress, to check the fit, so you can get the right size and best suited to the shape of your body. Sometimes just with small changes, such as widening or lengthening a few stitch/rounds (adding or removing a pattern repeat) and/or using a crochet hook half a number smaller or larger, you can make a difference and shape your own project.
