(Español más abajo) The Seronda hat is a quick and fun cabled hat that uses the same cable pattern as the Seronda sweater and cowl. The cables form an elastic fabric that adapts itself well to different size heads. If you are on Instagram, use the hashtag #serondahat when you post photos of your project, or tag me: @tejereningles **MATERIALS** • 4.5 mm (US7) and 5 mm (US8) circular needles, 40 cm / 16” long. 5 mm (US 8) double pointed needles (DPNs) for the crown (or longer circular needles to do magic loop). • 3 markers. • Cable needle. • Tapestry needle. **YARN** 160-190 m / 175-210 yards worsted or Aran weight yarn. I used 160 m of Lanasalpaca Donegal in the Copper colourway (orange) and 190 m of De Rerum Natura Gilliatt in the Poivre Et Sel colourway (natural). **GAUGE** 19 st and 28 rounds in 10 cm / 4” in a 1x1 rib stitch (unstretched) with smaller needles. 21 st and 22 rounds in 10 cm / 4” in the cable pattern (unstretched) with larger needles. Gauge is not too important for this pattern but it can affect the amount of yarn you use. **SIZE AND DIMENSIONS** One size. Agujas de doble punta (5 agujas) de 5 mm para las disminuciones de la corona (o circulares más largas si haces el método magic loop). • 3 marcadores. • Aguja auxiliar de trenzas(AAT) • Aguja lanera. **LANA** 160-19 m de lana de grosor worsted o aran. Yo usé Lanasalpaca Donegal en el color cobre (naranja) y 192 m de De Rerum Natura Gilliatt, color Poivre Et Sel (natural). **TENSIÓN** 19 pt y 28 vtas en 10 cm tejidos en elástico 1/1 (sin estirar) con las agujas más pequeñas. 21 pt y 22 vtas en 10 cm tejidos con el patrón de las trenzas (sin estirar) con las agujas más grandes La tensión no es muy importante para este patrón ya que, al ser un tejido elástico, se adapta bien a cualquier talla. Solo es importante que te coincida la tensión si tienes la lana muy justa y necesitas poder tejerlo con las cantidades que se dan más arriba. **TALLA Y DIMENSIONES** Talla única.
